Board Evaluation

Board evaluation and development processes vary depending on the type of sector and the sophistication and scale of the organisation. We use a tailor-made approach to meet our client’s requirements and align with Principle 4 of the National Code of Corporate Governance for Mauritius 2016, which recommends the evaluation of the Board by an external and independent facilitator. It is thus advised for the Board to undertake a formal, regular, and rigorous evaluation for its own performance and that of its committees and individual directors while producing a development plan annually.

We are confident that our guided approach will meet your expectations, and will find benefits in terms of improved leadership, greater clarity of roles and responsibilities, improved teamwork, greater accountability, better decision-making, improved communication, and more efficient Board operations. Our Board evaluation can contribute to significant improvements and add value at four levels: the organisation, the Board, its sub-committees, and the individual directors.
